So, another year has come and gone. My growing cynicism convinced me to avoid publishing anything too personal and diary-like online, despite the fact that my readership is probably in the low 10s. But I do want to acknowledge that stuff happened and while I don’t care for Top 10/20/100 lists, I will indulge in a little list making.

I had no intention of reading Jonathan Franzen’s “Freedom,” but I recently bought a Kindle (slightly used off eBay, mind you) a few months ago and while playing around with it, I accidentally bought the book and could not figure out how to return it. Whoops.
After I finished the first semester of my masters program, I had some free time and my copies of Entertainment Weekly...
New York Times has a video (a long one, but worth it) about a couple living in New York who get a ton of letters to Santa. Heartwarming, sure, but I find that if I think about it too much, I start coming up with questions that cool the heart rather quickly. Just enjoy the sentiments.
Why I Won't Give (for now).
Though Christmas is right around the corner, I have decided that I will not be sending any money to my alma mater or my current school, which I actually be an alumnus of in about 5 months. Bah humbug.
